Sooo....a proud father is happily snapping pictures at the college graduation of his eldest daughter. She graduated from a fine institute of higher learning some, say 3,000 miles away from home, so this auspicious occasion is attended by many family members and some close friends. Photos, smiles, and more photos.....
The proud father returns home and shows off the photos to his co-workers, laughing about his pending retirement now that this child has graduated Ha ha ha. Co-workers gather around and peruse the photos and ooh and ahh, what a joyous time, eh?
She looks at all the photos and her gaze lingers...and comes back to one photo in particular. Yes, the daughter and her grandfather look divine, both smiling, yes, it IS a happy occassion, but that isn't what draws her attention; rather, it's the man in the background, smoking a cigarette, oblivious to the flash and smiles going on around him. Damn, he bears a remarkable resemblance to her brother-in-law!
She inquires again, just when did this graduation take place because her brother-in-law just came back from a "business trip" in a place some 2,000 miles away.
Turns out the dates are the same for the graduation AND the purported "business trip." And the more she looks at that photo, the clearer it becomes, the brother-in-law WASN'T where he said he was.....and what was he doing at a college graduation anyhow? Hmmm.....
That photo turned out to be just the evidence needed to confirm what his wife already suspected, and THAT was the end of THAT marriage!
Sitting in church, the pastor has already given a lecture about decency stemming from a recent visit to the shopping mall, lawdhafmercy!!!
Then she begins to tell story about a phone call she received earlier in the week....
So, what it is....is that every 1st sunday, babies are dedicated, and per her call on the designated sunday, "Babies bring their parents" up to the front of the church.
There, families stand -- mothers and fathers, godparents, grandparents, all to dedicate the newest little family member to Christ.
Inevitably in our community, parents may not be married, yet the single mother and the Married father may still be standing before God, seeing to it that their little one is blessed. You heard right, MARRIED FATHER.
As it turns out, that phone call the pastor received was from his wife, who happened to be tuning into Streaming Faith that particular Sunday while on a business trip. Imagine HER surprise seeing her husband standing before GOD with a new little baby and some young single woman! Surely had he been a "godparent" she'd have known!
What the pastor made clear on Sunday was that she was blessing the babies, not the adulterous drama that may have created them! Lord, help them all!!
Be Clear -- There's always proof.....

When a covert operative goes on a mission they must focus on the needs of National security and not personal gain. Unfortunately history has taught us that it is when we are away protecting the innocent that those holding down the rebel base are most likely to stray.
