Damn, I want that!

Every time I witness a loving moment between a father and a young child, I find myself saying "I want one of those." Meaning, that is a SUCH a gift, one I'd be honored to provide, and honored to receive. That of spouse and parent. And to witness the bond of love between my spouse and our child.

I said it as recently as this morning, reading the paper online, when I saw this:



If she isn't the cutest thing? And she is SUCH a gift for her mother and father. Especially so, considering what they've been through to have her and the future they are all facing. Read about it, why don't you? Apropos for this being Breast Cancer Awareness Month.....

I pray for this family as I do all other touched by this disease and myself and I continue to do what I can to improve my overall health and well-being, so that one day I will be all-the-way ready to birth such a gift. I pray I am never touched by this disease, and that the ones that I have are healed, because damn, I want that!
