PSAs....

Now, it's not your count, but MEN, you need to have that checked, particularly if Prostate Cancer runs in your family....but today is all about the Public Service Announcements, starting with:

Race Car Reality for a Brotha
A request for your assistance in promoting Robert L. Jones (IUL Fall 95) as he makes his way on the Nascar circuit. He's one of the top 50 for being selected for a reality TV show, Racing For a Living. He's asking for brothers to go to the website, and cast a vote for him. The Link is www.racinforalivin.com

SO VOTE FOR ROB JONES. Thanks for your help and help spread the word.

This young brother is originally from Texas, attended Delaware State U, and also an accomplished airline and a fighter pilot in the Air National Guard. He is also the only BROTHER (black dude) in the competition.

May Dates are: Thursdays May 4th & 18th 6-8pm Saturdays 13th & 27th 2-4pm

If you have any questions please call Cheryl Kelley, Volunteer Coordinator, at 770-313-2159.

Alumni Data Compromised
Attention alumni of Ohio University -- Ohio University has recently experienced two separate and apparently unrelated incidents of data theft. The FBI is investigating both incidents. Alumni information has been stolen including social security numbers. The university has established a Web page at www.ohio.edu/datatheft to provide detailed information for people potentially affected by the theft of information and has established a toll-free hotline at 800-901-2303 or (740) 566-7448 (local calls) for those who were affected or who are uncertain if their information was illegally accessed.

Springboard to Success Networking Event postponed
We're writing to let you know that we've decided to postpone our spring event to coincide with the Covenant with Black America Conversation and Celebration Weekend in May.

Keys 2 Success is pleased to present an opportunity for like-minded professionals to create productive partnerships, and even more determined to see the fruits of the success manifested in our communities. We find ourselves inspired by the Covenant with Black America and see this weekend as an opportunity to further it's impact.

Please view the blog for an invitation and further details.

Back to the PSA -- really, it's a Public Service Announcement for men to get their PSA level's checked. Just another timely reminder...may Earl Woods rest in peace!
